Counseling That’s Grounded, Practical, and Real
Insight is important — but real change happens when insight and action come together.
I got sober at 21, and that experience shaped the way I understand struggle, change, and what it takes to build a meaningful life.
Over time, I’ve come to see that many of the challenges people face — anxiety, relationship stress, anger, and a sense of disconnection — often stem from losing clarity about who they are and what matters to them.
For many of the women and men I work with, that loss of identity develops gradually — through years of showing up for others as adult sons and daughters, partners, parents, and professionals. At some point, they realize they’re no longer sure where those roles end and they begin.
That kind of disconnection can feel confusing, overwhelming, and at times, deeply unsettling.
My work is centered on helping you reconnect with yourself — your values, your voice, and your direction — so you’re not just functioning in your roles, but actually living in a way that feels grounded and authentic.
I combine professional training with real-world experience to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and move forward with clarity and purpose.
A Clear, Structured Approach
Most people come in feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure where to start.
Our work focuses on:
- Understanding what’s actually driving your thoughts, reactions, and behavior
- Identifying patterns that keep repeating
- Building practical tools that create real change
This isn’t just a place to talk — it’s a place to figure things out and move forward.
With Men
- Pressure to perform and provide
- Difficulty expressing emotion
- Anger, frustration, or shutting down
- Feeling stuck but unsure how to change
Different Experiences. Shared Goals.
I work with both men and women, and while the goal is the same — clarity and change — the challenges often look different.
With Women
Many of the women I work with have spent years taking care of others — as daughters, partners, mothers, and professionals.
Over time, that can lead to a loss of identity, a sense of disconnection from themselves, and uncertainty about what they actually want or need.
Part of our work is helping you reconnect with your own voice, your values, and your sense of self — beyond the roles you’ve carried.

What I Believe
People don’t change because they’re told what to do.
They change when they:
- Understand what’s really going on
- Take ownership of their patterns
- Have the right tools to do something different
My role is to help you get there — in a way that’s honest, practical, and sustainable.
I aim to keep the process straightforward and grounded. Therapy doesn’t have to feel overly complicated or formal to be effective. When appropriate, I bring a bit of humor into the work — because sometimes seeing things clearly means being able to step back and look at them differently.
If This Feels Like the Right Fit, Let’s Start There
Reaching out is the first step. From there, we’ll take it one step at a time.
